Send in the Clouds

This is one of many test shots that I take from time-to-time. I was practicing shooting the rising Milky Way over Hollow Rock, as the sky conditions the next night were forecast to be ideal.
While I usually toss out my test shots, several of my friends really liked the drama added by the clouds. So I held on to this one … and made a mental note to try and add a bit more drama to future pictures. You don’t always need crystal clear skies to get a decent shot!
