As the aurora continued to intensify over Glacier, I began to see pale red with my naked eyes. Some folks are fortunate enough to see faint colors in the aurora. I am not. While I can see structure and motion, the only color I usually see is pale grey.
So, when I started seeing the sky turn red, I knew the aurora was getting intense. And if I can see red, what would the camera see? A sky on fire!
