The aurora at Glacier over the Garden Wall was memorable enough, but I also spent several minutes looking straight up. An aurora corona had formed during the substorm, and the ever-shifting shapes and colors (as picked up by the camera) were mesmerizing.
I took several shots before deciding it was time to move on. While it was tempting to stay at Logan Pass, I had the entire Sun Road at my disposal. The only question was … where to go next?
