Sometimes you get more than expected. Returning to Bensen Lake, the site of my first Milky Way panoramic, I was planning to capture the reflection of the rising Milky Way. What I didn't expect to capture was a shooting star.
Seeing a shooting star while shooting under dark, clear skies is not rare. I usually see 2 or 3 on each trip. But actually capturing one in a shot? That takes a bit of luck!
