Head East

After shooting the aurora from Logan Pass at Glacier, I had a choice to make. Return West to Apgar Village or continue East toward St Mary's. The problem with heading East was that most of the overlooks were facing South.
That usually doesn't bode well for shooting the aurora. But given how strong the aurora was at Logan Pass, I decided to see what the East side had to offer. As luck would have it, another substorm hit and the aurora moved into the Southern skies. I knew then that I had made the right decision.
